Since we're a quite literate site I don't accept three-liners. I understand when you've lost some muse but that doesn't make short posts accepted. For staff, pack leaders, and territory leaders - short posts will be unheard-of.
All try to follow these helpfull guidlines to improve you length.

Ok, some new RPers don't know where to start. Or are inexperienced in posting nice long responses in threads. To pass the five-line rule, I've made some pointers below ^^
Starting the Thread
- Introduce your character's appearance into the thread that you first post in.
- Describe fur, eyes, height, is s/he dirty? Clean? Hungry? Etc. Introducing your character into the thread will help the other RPers to know what their character is looking at.
- Use the Who What When Where Why and How method. Ask yourself these questions:
Who is nearby? Who is your character thinking about? Who is your character waiting for? etc.
What are you doing? What will you be doing? What did you do?
Where are you? What time is it? What is the weather like?
Why is your character in that location? Why is s/he out at that time?
And so on - Describe thoughts and feelings.
- Use your senses to describe things around you: Sight, Touch, Smell, and Sounds.
Continuing the Thread
- Continue to mention what the other RP/ers character do throughout the thread so that everyone is aware of what is going on.
- Continue to describe the colour of your clothing and hair and eyes so that other does not forget what your character looks like. It's good to use different words often so you're not repeating yourself. There is a Dictionary Here.
- Describe the items that your character holds, picks up, steps on etc.
- What does it taste like? Smell? Is it soft or hard? Sharp? Dull? Cold? Warm?
- Describing and elements against your characters body is a good way to lengthen an extra line if needed.
- Write down thoughts of your character about the another character/s, and write down why s/he thinks like that.
Fighting
- Continue with the pointers above.
- Write down the sounds and feel of your opponent and the area around you.
- Describe the attacks you use to the best of your ability including its strengths and weakness and where it plans to hit, whether there is room for the other person to dodge or not.
- Write down the pain if your character is hit.
- Was his/her breath knocked out? Would the hit leave a bruise or a scar?
- If you're bleeding, what does it feel like?
- Thoughts are usually swarming through someone's head during panic, or calm and slowly if you are prepared and confident as to how you will fight back.
I hope this helps. Others can add on to what helps them post lengthy.[/blockquote]
