For generations, the Clans had remained at peace. No major wars had broken out--oh sure, there had been a few scuffles at the borders--but other than that, everything was peaceful.
Then one day, a cat appeared at each Clan except for RainbowClan, carrying a small kit in their jaws. At StormClan and FlameClan they gave them this prophecy: "Dreams may fall and the ground may rise. Faith depends on your ancestors."
Then, at RainClan and LeafClan, they gave them this prophecy: Embrace the fallen stars, and know that all you believed in was a dream.
Now the kits are nearing apprentice age, and have been told nothing of their heritage. Yet... something seems strange about them. They always sit to the side whenever the games are going on and observe all of the cats in the Clan with a somewhat wise expression on their faces. The ones in StormClan and FlameClan were some of the best cats they had ever had. They never lost their temper and they were calm around everyone, as if they weren't kits experiancing this but full-grown cats who had delt with something like this many times over. They didn't behave like normal kits.
Meanwhile, the ones in RainClan and LeafClan were absolute nightmares. They were the ones that made fun of cats that weren't fully Clan-born, the ones that snuck out at the slightest oppertunity, and the ones that disrespected their elders at the slightest oppertunity. If the two kits in FlameClan and StormClan were angels, they would be devils, the children of the devil themselves. And if that wasn't enough, now they were starting to talk about these weird cats that live in a shadowy forest. They claimed that these cats were way stronger than DreamClan, and they wanted revenge on their ancestors for betraying them.
But could anything be more powerful than DreamClan? Most of the cats didn't think so, but then some cats began believing the two kits. It spread, and soon almost every cat in RainClan and LeafClan believed in what the kits called 'UnderClan', the Clan of evil cats that had 'betrayed' the five Clans. They began worshipping the cats that resided in those Clans instead of DreamClan, and some even attacked those who don't believe in DreamClan.
Caught in the middle of this conspiracy, RainbowClan had to be the peacekeepers for the Clans, for tension is brewing between RainClan and LeafClan (UnderClan worshippers) and StormClan and FlameClan (DreamClan worshippers).
Faith is fading, tension is brewing, the Warrior Code is being torn apart. Is there a silver lining to this gray cloud? Will the Clans ever be normal again?
Nobody knows. All they could do is watch... and wait.
