I stood on the deserted beach, the cold wind blowing harshly from behind me; my dark hair blowing into my face. I shivered, pulling the thin jacket tighter around myself as I wondered what I was doing here.

There was no correct answer.

As I stared over the ravaging ocean, I kicked the sand aggravatedly, unsure of why I couldn't bring myself to leave this place. It was freezing cold out, and here I was, standingl ike an idiot, underdressed for weather defense. It was quiet. Very, very quiet. The air was starting to become thick, humidity wise, which I knew to mean only one thing. Rain. That was just great. When my guts tell me to stay here for no reason, it starts to rain. My dark eyes lifted to the sky, looking at the violent looking storm clouds overhead. Bad.

And I had wondered why this place was so empty.
