Seasons Spring;
Heavy rainclouds are rolling in, it's quite slippery and sludgy out there. Watch your step!
You run, fast as you can. Your ears pick up the quiet thuds of feet hitting the ground behind you. Panicked, you try to run faster. But you're no match for them - no match for the beasts that haunt the great city of New York. You feel yourself knocked to the ground, feel hot breath on the back of your neck as the fangs sink into your flesh...
Once, all the humans had to fear were the Werewolves that roamed the city. Many people questioned, are they legend and rumor, or do they exist? Some people know the answer to this question, but they are refusing to talk. Now, however, the humans have a new threat to fear.
They came to the city silently, drawing little attention to their daunting presence. The humans find themselves immersed in the cold ones, amazed with the physical attraction they possessed. What were they? Where were they from? Were they gods from another world? Why did they disappear when it was sunny?
The answer is really very simple.
They are vampires.
And they just turned your world inside out.

Irreversible- A Intermediate, Multi-species RPG « Result #2 on Aug 20, 2009, 5:10pm »
SEVEN CONTINENTS AND THIRTEEN BIOMES- all ready to be filled with over 150 various species of birds and animals.
3,000 years ago, a man named Hugo Victor Kellen died at the age of 46 of natural causes. He had no offspring. He was also the last remaining human being on the earth.
THE CAUSE? Bio-terrorism. A manmade substance was laced into the majority of the world's natural oil, one that made gasoline itself highly volatile. This substance would remain dormant for various amounts of time before activating a chemical reaction that, without warning, would cause it to become excessively hot and caustic. Within a week, three-quarters of the planet's population was lost to explosions. THE RESULT? With humans divided into a few remaining stragglers on each continent and the oil-bound virus burning itself into extinction within a few weeks, the events were a stepping-stone for nature to repair itself- though many of the drier biomes, especially those in the Middle East and Africa- suffered extreme damage.
In the time that has passed, the earth has essentially been reborn, back to its original lush environment and with many of the same species thriving when they could not before. And that, reader, is where you come in.
Over 150 species of mammals, reptiles, and birds to choose from to role-play! Friendly, helpful admin! Eye-pleasing layout! Ability to create your own pack/herd/flock/clan! SEVEN available moderator positions- one for each continent! Weekly games and rare character auctions!... And more!

People from five different countries struggle each day. The powerful want to stay in command and keep their good fortunes. The rest fight to survive day by day.
A Land of the Magic...
In Shayz'renth, there's great power over the elements: shadow, light, fire, water, wind, and earth, but it can only be granted only by the Sages that rule them. Each day brings another theft, another murder, and another noble feigning ignorance. Every day a person must chose between what is right and what is wrong.
A Land of Barrenness...
In Kolshtak, the desert brings little to those who live in it. Communities form around sources of water, depending on them for survival. It is from this country that the gypsies were born, clans that formed generations ago to survive.
A Land of the Nature...
Governed by elves, Manti strives to be the most beautiful country. Still recovering from a civil war, they are enjoying peaceful times again. Some within are not so well off though. While some cities are rich with beauty and life, other cities are struggling each day.
A Land of the Trade...
It's not easy to be a landlocked country, and Lalan'ay would agree. What they cannot get from the ocean, they make up for in hard work and patience. They reach out to make trades routes with the countries around them.
A Land of the Chaos...
Pyroose has no central government. Their frozen lands are littered with hundreds of clans. Most of the people stay in the forested mountains. It is the most violent of the five countries. The people often prey on each other. Those born within are unlikely to ever see adulthood, and the brave travelers who visit have a tendency to disappear.

Requiem of Twilight « Result #4 on Jul 27, 2009, 8:27pm »
Over a hundred years ago...
The King of Thieves was captured in a failed attempt to kill the Hylian King and usurp the throne. As punishment, he was ordered to be executed by the Ancient Sage spirits, but as this order was carried out, through some divine jest, the evil Gerudo was gifted with the Goddesses’ power and revived.
Breaking free of his restraints, the dark lord drew the weapon of his demise from his chest, his vile laugh filling the air as he prepared to kill his executioners. However, this short moment of reprieve was the King’s downfall, as the Sages managed to open a portal to another world behind him. The void the portal created began to pull at him, slowly drawing him towards its depths, proving beyond even the Goddesses’ power to prevent.
The last act of the King of Evil before he disappeared from time was to launch the Sage’s Sword into the portal’s originator, piercing the very center of the Mirror of Twilight, but this proved to be worthless, as the damage was merely superficial, and the blade was quickly pulled into the void with its new owner…
The world has since lived in peace, battles and wars are small and short, fights becoming a mere training exercise of caution. People remain alert, prepared, but relaxed and comfortable.
Unfortunately, as with all things,
peace cannot last forever…
As you can tell, this is a Legend of Zelda Roleplay site, and I'm sure those of you who have good eyes can tell its based on the Twilight Princess game, but expanded and with a twist. We like to think of our site as a "Fantasy/Zelda RP", the knowledge of Zelda required is minimal~ You are able to claim canons from the game, as well as make original characters, get involved with the plot if you wish, and roleplay to your hearts content. ♥

The Origins of Treadoron
ToT is a new breed of wolf rp, it spawns from the mind of Stephanie Elgin who decided to start writing a book about two packs of wolves who are at war. You can read about it Here. Her love for the characters in the book has spawned a Role-play where others can come and play those in the book or their own characters.
We are looking for dedicated and active players, ones that follow rules and ones that like to express themselves through writing. We are a literate/semi-literate role-play, but if you are new to Role-playing you can join us, practice makes perfect and I remember when I was new to this whole writing thing. I was horrible at it.
Check out the site, if you like what you see join us. If this site doesn't suit your fancy I hope you find something that does.

its been a while, but here goes
I felt kinda bad leaving Zevah behind. Whenever somethings up with her I force her to tell me whats wrong. 'I guess i should've been more open.' But that was all over with, it was at least three hours till dawn and heading back would just take up too much time. I trotted at a brisk pace to the ledge where both of our dreams seemed to intensify.
It got colder as I left the forest, the chill breeze found the patches in my pelt that just weren't as thick. The ledge was just ahead of me. 'Something is wrong... I smell....humans?' It was an awkward smell. Like a stack of matches being lit at the same time. With the smell, came the faint odor of frying fat, beer, and others. I slowly and carefully peaked my head around the lone tree that ended the forest. I saw five humans sitting around a fire. "Why are they asleep? At this hour?" I growled under my breath. Apparently one of the humans heard my growl. He jumped up and spoke to the other humans. I jumped back and ran to the forest, but a little too late. I flinched as light surrounded me. They had seen me. I had to slow my pace down lest they figure out what i really was and try to kill me. I slowly trotted away from the lights edge. I heard some faint whispering, but i was too focused on my task to clearly make it out. Suddenly they all started running after me. I could smell the alcohol on them and broke into a run, I dashed into the forests and sat under a tree about a mile in listening for the humans.Once I could no longer smell the human stench, I slowly went back to the clearing where Zevah and Zigor were.
When i arrived in the clearing Zevah was already awake and Zigor was running around in circles around the clearing. I put a smile on my face and tried to replace the fear of being seen in my eyes to that of glee. I thought i pulled it off when Zevah asked me what was wrong. i couldn't deny her knowledge any more. "Zevah, we have to get back. There were humans in the forest last night and they may be here still." Zevah looked shocked but nodded. She grabbed Zigor who was fighting with a leaf and jogged out of the woods. I followed and tried to keep a lookout for anything wrong

For many centuries, all was well between the lands. Civilization, agriculture, and magic prospered beautifully in each kingdom and country. However, among humankind war seems almost inevitable. For one reason or another, Kingdoms will start bloody battles between one another.
The Current conflict has been brought about by Kenric's Wizard King. His mother and father were killed due to a disease spread by magic, and although he is quite the powerful wizard and quite skilled in the arts of magic, over the years since his childhood he has come to hate magic as well as anything related. Everything began with hateful comments, which turned into insults, which then turned into forceful suggestions. In this end it led to war.
Kenric's ruler has focused all of his hatred on the Kingdom of Edlin, currently the most prosperous in individuals with magic. The King of Kenric has made it his life goal to eliminate all who wiled magic, as well as any sort of literature or objects related or based on magic. Edlin's ruler was given the option of either giving up all of his citizens with magical abilities, or starting a bitter war. Edlin's king chose war.
For almost five years now the two powerful kingdoms have been fighting for what they believe to be right, for how they believe things ought to be.
The nearby Kingdom of Abadden has not yet been pulled into war, but they have been ensured by Kenric that if they are not to join their side, they will be anihilated once the Kingdom of Edlin is defeated. Abadden as well as the smaller countries of Fyren, Eskil, and Anko now face a decision;; should they choose the safe option of joining Kenric's force, or shall they fight for their beliefs, their love for magic and risk being invaded and massacred?
Edlin's school of magic, Raziel Palace, is the largest and most heard of institute on the continent. The largest population of the gifted, from all Kingdoms combined, reside and study here. Kenric's king constantly sends spies, assassins, and even Mord Sith to the school, making constant attempts at the First Wizard and Sorceress' life. Life at the school is not as safe as it used to be. Students are urged to learn faster, finish their studies quicker in order to join the battlefront. Kenric's army is far vaster than Edlin's, the only thing keeping the enemy back being Edlin's vast amount of the magically gifted.

Re: half . past . dead (Chase) « Result #9 on Apr 21, 2009, 1:33am »
Stifling a groan I pushed some hair out of my eyes looking up at Chase.
"Why would you torture us again with school....? It's so boring they teach the same things....."
Sitting up fixing my frilly top my green orbs looking down, then flicking to the side.
"You had better not make me be nice....as in don't make me be friendly with any girls. . .you remember what happened the last time a girl got too close...."
Remembering the past hurt too much if it didnt have anything to do with Master, Chase or Artemis. They were the only good things in my messed up life.
Having the same dream over and over again for the last few weeks as I looked at Artemis and Chase.
This "family" type structure we had going on...I wanted more. Artemis my big brother...having him yell at me just being...my big brother...
And Chase, having him be his fatherly type, but the last few years we've been around him I have this feeling when i look into his sad solem eyes....
He's lonely...
Come on shake your mind out of this funk you know you can do it just look at him straight and say it! You know you can....
Looking up at Chase my eyes becoming slightly sad.

These Aren¡¯t Your Grandma¡¯s Unicorns¡
They call this place the ruins, the mysterious land to the southeast where the forest meets the sea. It is a warm, wet, swampy place, split into two by a vast river, with its axis at the heart of an old human town. It is full of mysteries and secrets, of otherworldly whispers and vanished races. But more than that, it is a place of revolution. For the leaders of the five great herds have decided that this place, a place of new wonder and unknown peril, will be the setting for the greatest experiment in their history: to see if, at long last, the five breeds can live together in something resembling peace.
For some, the call for change is enough. For others, it is the promise of peace. Those less idealistic come in search of land for their own, to make a new homeland. Some come to keep pure blood and culture, and stop the madness their rulers have unleashed.
For whatever, reason, though, they come. The Oreille, the Veleno, the Rama, Pellame, and Masse. Of all breeds, of all lands, of all walks of life, they come. They come to see what can be made in The Ruins...
